It is advised to avoid low-quality adapters; some inexpensive Chinese clones may face connectivity issues, resulting in unstable engine performance, disconnections, and slow data retrieval. For optimal experience, use authentic ELM327 adapters from reputable brands or those recommended by the developers. Be aware that clones marked as v.2.1 may appear supported but often contain bugs.
